Iceland has always been a dream destination of mine, mostly for photography reasons, but also to experience real nature firsthand.

I say "real nature" because it is something I can’t experience in my home country, Denmark. The vast, wild nothingness is practically non-existent here, as only 0.5% of the land is wild nature.

In total, we spent 5 days on the south coast of Iceland. We had 2 rainy days and one day was so windy that I physically could not open the door out of the hotel lobby.
